A Phantom of the Opera Vocal Workshop
Learn one of the haunting numbers from Phantom’s score. Participants will
be coached in the vocal methods used by real Broadway actors!
Prima Donna: Operatic
Singing
How is Operatic singing different from traditional Broadway belting? Participants
will learn an Operatic number from the show and talk with a cast member about
warm-ups and vocal techniques actually used by the Broadway cast!
Stepping Up: Character
Development and Acting Technique
What is a stock character and what are given circumstances? Learn this and more
from a member of the cast. Students study scenes from the show, exploring objectives,
given circumstances and character development.
Putting on a Show:
Musical Theatre Dance
Led by a member of the cast, participants learn how to incorporate dance and
movement into a production. This workshop combines movement with basic acting
skills.
Masquerade: Costume
Design Workshop
Learn how the award-winning design team of this show makes masquerade magic
in this mask-making workshop.
